Pleco the Chinese Dictionary

        I must share this app with everyone especially prospect Chinese teachers.

        I learned this app from my student teaching placement.  When I observed my cooperating teacher's class, I found out that some students were using their smartphones to scan the text.  After asking one of the students, I learned that the students were using this app to look up the characters they were not familiar with.

        This app allows the students to scan more than one character at a time.  After scanning, the app will tell the Pinyin and meaning of the character.  It is easy to use and helpful for Chinese language learners.  Most importantly, it is free!
